The Best Way To Make Reflections In Photoshop.
Of course reflections are something used in most of web 2.0 designs .
When you make reflections by using gradient tool it’s simple but it’s limited this way only used on one color backgrounds .
What about making reflection on an image .
Here’s the solution….
Step One
Open the logo or the text or any thing you want to make reflection to it.

Step Two
Duplicate the layer.

Step Three
If the layer was text layer you must Rasterize Type or Rasterize Layer.

Step Four
Apply this on the new layer Edit => Transform => Flip Vertical .

Result.

Step Five
Select Rectangular Marquee Tool . Set Feather 10px.

Step Six
Use Rectangular Marquee Tool to make somthing like this.

Then Click [delete] more than one time.
Then set opacity 50%.
Final Result.

Using a layer mask with a gradient instead of the marquee/feather/delete solution would be better since it is non-destructive and adjustable.

Well,
If you are designing the logo for a site/client rather than a template, this way is much better.
Since logo edits will not be needed time and again.
