Hello….

here’s my first tutorial to you (Web2.0 Text Style) very useful tutorial you must use it in your designs .

Tutorial Result……

Let’s start.

1 - Open new document (any size you want) .

2- Write OWeb2 (your text) with white color (72px).

3- Layer=>Layer style=>Blending Options…..

Result

4- Use Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) to make something like this……

5- Use Gradient Tool to fill it…

Note : you must first creat a new layer then fill the square with the gardient.

Result…

6- set opacity to 50% or 25%

Result…

7- Merge the text layer into a new layer.

8- Duplicate OWEB2 Layer (Text Layer).

9- Do this with the new copy….Edit=>Transform=>Flip Vertical.

10- Make this with the reflected layer … layer=>layer style=>Blending Options=>Gradient Overlay….

11- set opacity to 50% or 25%.

Finished.

Banco Font is the font i used in this tutorial.
